Home Made Gnocchi with Tomatoes and Natural Sausage - This is a simple recipe suitable for sunday lunch. It take about 45 minutes to be prepared. Gnocchi have less calories then simple Pasta. Secondly, the sauce is deeply natural.

INGREDIENTS

  1. For Gnocchi:
  2. 1 egg
  3. 3 big potatoes
  4. 500 gr of flour (00 Type)
  5. Salt and Pepper
  6. For the sauce:
  7. 2 Natural Sausage
  8. 600 gr of Tomatoes "Datterini"
  9. Olive Olive
  10. Salt & Pepper

PREPARATION

Boil the potatoes and mash them mixing the egg, salt and pepper.

Add flour and mix ingredients together.
Prepare some little "snake" of pasta and cut them with a knife.

Gnocchi has to rest for about half an hour before being cooked.

Use this time to prepare the sause like this.
Cut in two pieces each tomato and cut finly the sausage.

Put tomatoes and sausage into a casserole and let them cook together (also without oil if you'd like) for about 20 minutes.

I always add some garlic because I love garlic taste.

Pay attention on the salt!

Prepare another pot full of water and make it boil.

Cook Gnocchi into boiled water for about 1 minute.

Then Put gnocchi into the sauce casserole and mix together.

Add some Parmigiano and eat!
