  • Easy Peasy Ginger Beer

Ginger beer is one of my favourite things in the world, especially good in the summer when it's getting hot. The classic real ginger beers are fantastic but slow to make, so here's my shortcut for getting amazing results in hardly any time. Image © David Loftus

  • Sizzling Beef with Spring Onions and Black Bean Sauce

This works best with rice that has been made earlier, cooled, and then chilled in the fridge. But if you can’t prepare rice for this dish in advance, cook it then spread it out on a tray in a thin layer so that it cools down quickly while you’re cooking the rest of the dish. • Chinese-style Minced Meat Lettuce Wraps

This is one of the most popular recipes on our blog. Made famous at a certain Chinese chain, you can make it at home for a whole lot less. And it is really easy and delicious.

  • Malai Kofta

Malai Kofta is a very popular Indian dish, not only vegetarians, even the non-vegterian love this recipe. This dish is a rich and creamy dish made with cottage cheese balls stuffed with nuts in a rich creamy sauce ,best served with steamed rice or flavored rice.

  • Malaysian Curry Noodles

The recipe of Curry Noodles varies from one house to another. I simply love this one as it's simple to make (seriously it is, despite the long list of ingredients) and packed with punching heat and its generous treasures in the creamy yet light broth. My choice of Asian comfort food.

  • Malaysian Chicken Percik

This is less spicy version of Chicken Percik. Why? Well, because I don't think my Spain family is ready for our hot and spicy Malaysian food yet! This recipe reminds me of home. I got it from my sister, she's the one that I refer to for our family recipes.

  • Tofu Burger

This recipe is super healthy and super fun to eat. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't eat red meat so this was a nice substitute for hamburgers. It's a little time consuming to make so I recommend making it on the weekend when you've got plenty of time. Even my teenage-carnivore son loves it!

  • Butternut Squash,Chilli n Ginger Soup

A delicious, warming soup that as hardly any calories but all the flavour!

  • Coconut Ginger Fried Rice

Forget about getting fried rice from a restaurant--this veggie filled version will have the kids begging for more. Change the recipe up as much as you want, substituting veggies that your kids will like, and adding bits of cooked chicken or shrimp. I love this recipe when I don't know what else to make, but I have leftovers in the fridge and want something filling. Using coconut rice gives the dish so much flavor as it's already infused with coconut, ginger, and garlic.
